Job Title: Non-Profit Executive Director

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Executive Director for our Non-Profit Women in HVAC organization. The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization’s mission, vision, promoting its values, and ensuring long term sustainability and growth of the non-profit. In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing all operations of the non-profit organization. This includes developing and executing strategic plans, overseeing program committees, services, fundraising, financials, and fostering strong relationships with board members, staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for driving positive change within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans and goals in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to ensure alignment between organizational strategies and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of programs, committee needs, and services.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with the board of directors, sponsors, partners, donors, and other stakeholders to support and advance the organization's goals.
• Lead and coordinate fundraising activities, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and events to secure financial resources for the organization's programs and operations.
• Effectively communicate the organization’s mission, impact, and goals to internal and external audiences.
• Responsible for financials, including budget creation and monitoring, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to promote the organization and its impact.
• Represent and advocate for the organization's mission and priorities at local, regional, and national levels, engaging in public speaking, attending conferences, and collaborating with other leaders in the field.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues, and adapt organizational strategies to respond effectively.
• Maintain transparency, accountability, and strong governance practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organization, with a history of achieving results and managing complex operations.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to cultivate relationships and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, including grant writing and donor cultivation.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Knowledge of non-profit governance, compliance, and legal requirements.
• Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to social impact.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others towards a shared vision.

Salary:

The salary for the WHVACR Non-Profit Executive Director ranges between $80,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on years of experience, and qualifications of the candidate.
