Mentor Qualification Program Launches its Fourth Training Module

We are proud to have introduced four training modules to date of our six-module Mentor Qualification Program. The training is intended to ensure our mentors have a consistent level of capability to engage with mentees as part of our Navigator program. If you are a Navigator, or mentor in our program, you won’t want to miss out on earning your qualification badge!

Whether you are a new mentor or an experienced one, our Mentor Qualification Program is intended to ensure alignment with our organization’s expectations of you as a Navigator. And it gives all our members a way to “level-up” their mentorship skills. As the leading women’s mentorship program in the industry, Our goal is for t all of our mentees to have a quality experience when they enter our program and we could not offer that without the commitment and credibility of our mentors.

Our Mentor Qualification Program consists of six modules, with the next two modules being released by September 1. The training modules are:

• Module 1: Orientation, Ethics and Foundation (Released)
• Module 2: Building Trust and Rapport (Released)
• Module 3: Active Listening and Effective Questioning (Released)
• Module 4: Goal Setting and Accountability (Released)
• Module 5: Coaching, Guiding & Overcoming Challenges (To be Released in August)
• Module 6: Professionalism and Growth as a Mentor (To be Released in September)

Nearly half of our mentors are already participating, so don’t miss out! Modules are available in MentorCity under the Courses tab. Each one includes a handout and a quiz. Badges will be earned only after completion of all six modules.
