Angela graduated from Clemson University with a undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish and a Masters in Business Administration. Her experience in HVAC started with TUTCO, a heat strip manufacturer. She was the national sales manager and was challenged to grow the aftermarket business, which was a new approach for them at that moment. During her time there, She not only learned how to sell in a very segmented market, but she also learned about testing and qualifying equipment and how that impacted sales. After her time at TUTCO, she went to work for Owens Corning where she was an area sales manager handling various states. There, she not only learned about the HVAC portion of the business, but was exposed to the mechanical side of the business as well. She was a key component in creating and managing the pricing strategy for my territory and growing the business from one year to the next. Most recently she has been working with the business development team at Watsco. This team is challenged with taking the company’s strategy and building a foundation to achieve those goals. Her main responsibility has been to be a liaison between our subsidiaries and the headquarters to achieve a common goal with many of their vendor partners.
