Bio: Stacy Pederson's stand up comedy and outlook on life began with a diagnosis of a terminal illness with her first husband. Stacy began a difficult journey fraught with failure-including a failed marriage, single parenting, job loss, broken dreams, and financial ruin.
Then in July of 2011, Stacy stepped on a rusty nail. The simple misstep caused several bouts in the hospital, near death experiences, and surgery with lifelong repercussions. Stacy now has a deep understanding of the universal need we all have for hope, love, joy, and laughter.

Bio: Angie Snow is the co-owner and Vice President of Western Heating & Air Conditioning in Orem, Utah. She and her husband, Ryan, purchased Western in 2007. At that time the company had 4 technicians and was ran out of their home. Today Western has 26 employees and they are looking forward to continued growth. Much of this growth began when Angie and Ryan incorporated company values and focused on building a positive culture.
Angie manages the office staff, HR, Marketing, and continues to focus on business development as she looks for ways to connect with her customers and her employees. In 2015, Western was awarded the Ron Smith Trailblazing award given by the Service Roundtable for their innovative systems and processes. Angie was also awarded the Service World Woman of the Year Award at the first Service World Expo in 2016.
Topic: From the Jungles of Burma to HVACR: Lessons Learned
Bio: Leslie Gildea is the Sr. Director of Business Development at ServiceTitan, a cloud-based business management software for contractors. With a unique path leading her to the HVAC industry, Leslie initially started her career as a human rights attorney in Burma where she trained Burmese lawyers, activists, and armed rebel groups. She will share lessons learned from her experience working in human rights and explain how she leveraged that experience to navigate a male-dominated industry and take a human-centric approach to build credibility and establish trust with some of the largest HVACR OEMs, distributors, and dealers.
Topic: Now Is The Time - HARDI’s Analysis of the Current HVACR Business & Policy Climate
In this session, HARDI will present the macro trends and current leading indicators, including policy, economics and the labor market, that lead the organization to believe that we’re in the midst of a unique moment in time, to either establish yourself as a best-in-class HVACR organization, or lose share to others.
Bio: Emily Saving is the Executive Vice President of HARDI, the trade association for HVACR wholesalers and their supplier partners. In her role, Emily oversees the various staff and departments in fulfillment of HARDI’s mission – to make HVACR distribution the channel of choice for HVACR suppliers and contractors. She has worked in various capacities for HARDI for 7 years, and before that worked in the insurance industry. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from The Ohio State University, where her loyalty (and student loan debt) are undying.

The Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub, home to tastemakers and rulebreakers, bushwhackers and envelope pushers. For almost three decades they have been brewing handcrafted beer in their modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. Over the years, this neighborhood has transformed and Colorado’s craft beer industry has exploded. Wynkoop remains a standard, serving cold beer to warm friends.
