Women in HVACR opens nominations for its 2026 board of directors
“We are not just looking for board members, we are looking for trailblazers,” said Women in HVACR President Kristin Gallup. “The next generation of Women in HVACR leaders will help us break barriers, spark innovation and redefine what leadership looks like in our industry. We want visionaries who inspire action, empower other women and leave the HVACR trades stronger, more inclusive and more dynamic than ever before.”
Nominations are open for its 2026 board of directors through Oct. 31.
As Women in HVACR continues to expand its membership and influence across the industry, the organization seeks strong leaders to play a vital role in strategic planning and advancing the organization’s mission by providing:
- Strategic Leadership: Helping set and guide long-term organizational goals
- Governance: Ensuring alignment with WHVACR’s mission and values
- Fundraising and Outreach: Supporting sponsorship efforts and representing WHVACR in the community
- Mentorship and Sponsorship: Creating opportunities and offering guidance for women in HVACR
After the Oct. 31 deadline, the executive board will review the applications before scheduling and conducting interviews between Nov. 1-15. Final selections will be determined by a board vote on Nov. 18.
